About Jaimie Kulikowski for Congress

My name is Jaimie Kulikowski (Cool-ih-cow-ski). I am running for the U.S House of Representatives in Colorado's 6th Congressional District, against Jason Crow.

My platform supports Trump's National Security focus and spells SAFE. This stands for Secure America First, Ecclesiastes 3:8.

Ancestry

I  descend from a Polish Catholic, Native American bloodline. My dad’s side of the family was Polish Catholic until my great grandpa Casmir immigrated here in 1905, to flee the communist takeover of Poland. He went through the naturalization process legally and worked as a janitor to provide for his family, which included Frank, my grandpa. Frank fought in WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. My mom’s side of the family was Cherokee. Most of my Cherokee ancestors died on the Trail of Tears in 1838. The ones who survived were adopted by a white family.  Although stories get lost during times of oppression and war, what I do know is fighting for America and against oppressive government runs in my blood.

The first photo is of my grandpa Frank at Army training prior to deploying to Europe to fight in WWII.

The second photo is of my Cherokee ancestors, who were adopted off the Trail of Tears, a poignant reminder of their enduring legacy as we reflect on the current political climate, including discussions relevant to CD6.

Family of Origin and Education

I was born at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on June 14th,1977. My dad, Tom Kulikowski, followed in his dad’s footsteps and enlisted in the Army after high school. He served 22 years in the Army medical corps and has been working in sleep medicine for the last 20some years.  My mom, Franny Weitzel, paved her own path and received a doctorate in psychology. She is a licensed psychologist and has been practicing in the state of Colorado for over 20 years. Both my parents were also athletes. My dad played baseball and basketball, and my mom was a marathon runner. I am the oldest of three daughters. All three of us followed in our parents’ footsteps by serving our country, working in healthcare, pursuing higher education, and being athletes.

My family moved around a lot with my dad’s Army career. His last duty station was at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora. We lived in Aurora from the time I was 7 to 16. So, Aurora, being the biggest city in CD6 was a major part of my childhood. I went to Park Lane Elementary, North Middle, and two years at Gateway HS. My family moved to Colorado Springs in 1993 so my sister could train for the ‘96 Olympics. She came very close as the alternate on the gymnastics team. Theresa Kulikowski if any of you follow gymnastics.

I graduated from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs and attended CU at Colorado Springs (or UCCS). During my sophomore year, I considered dropping out of college, and following in my dad’s footsteps by enlisting in the Army. However, my dad encouraged me to become an officer. I took his guidance and was awarded with an ROTC scholarship for my junior and senior years of college. During those years, I ran cross country for UCCS, became airborne qualified at Ft. Benning, and graduated as the top cadet in my ROTC class.

Military Service

I honorably served on active duty as an Army Officer from May 1999 to May 2003. I was stationed in Germany for most of that time and held various junior officer positions. I was also a three-time Army Ten Miler team member. 2001 was the biggest year of my Army service. During the Spring, I was part of the Kosovo Peacekeeping Mission and during the fall, we suffered the 9/11 attacks. I never deployed to a combat zone; however, I experienced the fog, friction, chaos, and trauma of warfare from 2001 to 2003. I was not the kind of officer who blindly took orders in the fog.  Right after the 9/11 attacks, orders were coming and going so fast that you had to remain calm and thoroughly communicate, to know which ones to follow and which ones to resist. When I was put in charge of achieving the Army’s Mobility Index during a field exercise, I communicated up and down my chain of command to fully understand what the mission was in order to successfully execute it. My leadership history proves that I am someone who can work across aisles and will stand for what is right, even if it means risking my reputation and rank.

The military photo was taken during the Kosovo Peacekeeping Mission. We were at a school, replenishing supplies, after it had been bombed.

Politics

After leaving the Army, my political views shifted from right to left. I wanted nothing more than peace, and the left preaches that they are the party of peace. By the time of Trump’s first run for president in 2016, I was so far left, you could say I was radical and woke. I am living proof of “get woke, go broke.” During Trump’s first term, I fought his administration hard and lost my job, savings, and friends. The radical, woke left will pull a person so far from truth and God, that you will find yourself losing everything.

In late 2019, I felt a call to duty again and I ran for the same seat I’m running for this year. I ran as a democrat, against the sitting incumbent, Jason Crow. The democrats did not like this, but being radical, I ran away. When the war on COVID hit, it was like I woke up from being woke. All my military training started coming back to me. The oath I took in 1999 came back to me. I specifically remembered that all warfare is based on deception. I began watching Trump’s leadership and realized that he is not a threat to America. The democrats in office are the threat. I began publicly supporting Trump’s leadership during my campaign and of course lost the democratic primary.  I continued to fight against the un-American mandates that were being imposed on us. I fought by suing Governor Polis and Jason Crow. The way I led as an Army Officer came back.

After losing the 2020 election, I took a break from politics. I needed to recover from both financial and social losses. I successfully worked in sales for a couple years. I then started a small business at the end of 2022. Although I was on a political break, I maintained a strong, Trump supporting voice during the 2024 election year. I had political discussions every chance I could, and across all aisles, to promote Trump winning.

I decided to run again this year because we have to get as many Trump supporting Republicans in Congress as possible. Trump’s number one priority is national security. The democrats cannot win the majority of seats or history will repeat itself. The democrats will move to impeach Trump, and America will become vulnerable to another major homeland attack, like we experienced from Dec 2019-Mar 2020. That cannot happen again!

Thank you for giving me your time. I will serve God, America, District 6, and you with all my heart if elected.
